About
Ty Gwyn are a Welsh craft cider company based in the glorious Monnow Valley in South Wales. They supply some of the best gastropubs and restaurants in the country with their bottled cider including three Michelin star restaurants, and counting. Star of TV’s ‘The Hotel Inspectors’ Alex Polizzi wrote in her widely respected Little Black Book of Hotels that “you’ll be hard pushed to find a tastier cider than Ty Gwyn”. Other celebrity supporters include Oz Clarke, Angela Hartnett and Kate Humble.
Their delicious Bag in Box cider is made from Dabinett apples pressed personally by brothers and co-owners Alex and Ben Culpin. It enjoys a long, natural cold fermentation period of a minimum of seven months. It is lightly filtered for colour and clarity and has been the only still cider served at the world renowned Hay Festival for the last two years running, where it was a sell out.
