Brooklyn Brew Shop Help Videos
Day 0 - YES, Your Brooklyn Shop Brew Kit Has Arrived!
This is it, your new hobby begins today. It's time to open that Beer Making Kit and start planning your first brew day. We remember what starting out can feel like, so we're here to help you every step of the way. Follow along with this guide & keep in touch through Twitter and Facebook with questions, stories & photos. There's no such thing as a stupid question and if we don't know the answer we'll know someone who does!
Day 1 - It's BREW DAY!
Today's the big day! Time to get into the kitchen & make some beer. While friends & beer are the most essential parts of any brew day, we recommend completing the following checklist to ensure your beer making goes smoothly.
Day 3 - Time to Check Out the Progress!
You've brewed, and your beer's been bubbling away somewhere dark and out of the way as it ferments. We understand the desire to show it off to your friends. But first, your job for today is taking two minutes to swap the blowoff tube with an airlock.
Day 14 - It's Ready, Time to Bottle!
Every beer needs a bottle. With just a little sugar (usually honey, agave or maple syrup), your beer carbonates naturally. Emptying out your fermenter means you can fill it right back up with more beer, so take this opportunity to get your next batch started.
Day 28 - Time to Enjoy!
You did it! You made beer. Cold, carbonated & alcoholic beer. Pop it in the fridge two weeks after bottling, invite friends over & crack one open.
