Gruntings cider lovers .....it's time to wake up and smell the apples!

Life in our orchards is pressing for apples, but not for the 'Old Spot hogs that call it home, just 3 miles from Glastonbury and where we make our crackling good ciders and fruit juices. All our ripe, juicy cider apples which we hand-grade and then farm press whilst our pigs look on in utter bemusement, are grown in Somerset, harvested from the 1,000 or so acres of wonderful, historical orchards that we nurture. It’s all about the birds and bees ........

Our Old Spot pigs know a thing or two about relaxation (often seen under the apple trees, trotters up, enjoying the sunshine) and enjoy an apple or two themselves but luckily have left a few for our ciders and juices. Our hazy days of experimenting have really paid off, so enjoy some Orchard Pig that'll light you up in 2011. A simple pleasure, best shared!
